2. About Trust DSC
Trust DSC is an Authorized Business Partner of Capricorn Identity Services Private Limited, a Licensed Certifying Authority (CA) under the Information Technology Act, 2000, authorized by the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA), Government of India. Trust DSC facilitates the issuance of Digital Signature Certificates — it does not independently issue certificates.
3. Scope of Services
Trust DSC provides assistance for: Application and submission of Digital Signature Certificates (DSC) on behalf of the customer, Guidance through the video KYC and document verification process, Support for DSC download, installation, and usage, Renewal assistance for expiring DSCs, Partner onboarding and support. All DSC certificates are issued by Capricorn Identity Services Private Limited as the licensed Certifying Authority.
4. Accuracy of Information
Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the DSC application process. Any incorrect, incomplete, or fraudulent information provided by the user may result in rejection of the DSC application by the Certifying Authority. Trust DSC is not responsible for rejections caused by incorrect information submitted by the applicant.
5. Payment Policy
Trust DSC follows a Pay-After-Approval policy. Payment is collected only after your DSC application has been approved by the Certifying Authority. No advance payment is required. If your application is rejected by the Certifying Authority for any reason, no charge will be levied. All payments made after approval confirmation are final and non-refundable, as the service has been rendered.
6. Processing Time
DSC issuance timelines depend on successful completion of document verification, video KYC verification, and approval by the Certifying Authority. Trust DSC aims to process most applications within 30 minutes of receiving complete documents and successful KYC completion. However, processing times may vary in cases of document discrepancies, high volumes, or technical issues with the Certifying Authority portal.
7. USB Crypto Token
As per CCA guidelines, all Digital Signature Certificates must be stored on a government-approved USB Crypto Token. Users are responsible for keeping their USB Token safe. Trust DSC is not responsible for DSCs lost due to lost, damaged, or stolen USB Tokens. In such cases, a fresh DSC application must be submitted and applicable charges will apply.
8. Third-Party Services
DSC certificates are issued by Capricorn Identity Services Private Limited as per Government of India regulations. The DSC application portal (certificate.digital) is operated by Capricorn Identity Services. Trust DSC has no control over the portal, its availability, or technical issues arising from the Certifying Authority's systems.
9. Limitation of Liability
Trust DSC shall not be liable for: Delays or rejection caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the applicant, Technical issues, outages, or policy changes on the Certifying Authority portal, Any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from use of our services, Losses due to misuse, theft, or loss of USB Token by the user. Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
10. Partner Program Terms
Partners registered under the Trust DSC Partner Program must comply with all applicable laws and CCA guidelines. Partners are responsible for verifying the identity of their clients before submitting applications. Commission structures are as communicated at the time of onboarding and may be revised with prior notice. Trust DSC reserves the right to terminate partner access in case of misuse or non-compliance.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on trustdsc.in including text, images, logos, and design is the property of Trust DSC. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any content from this website is strictly prohibited.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and other applicable Indian laws. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi/NCR, India.
13. Changes to Terms
Trust DSC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The revised terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
